Korea, they have a cool mission tree for playing tall. fun but also hard because everyone with a coastline will hate youĭithmarschen, the third northern german opm for my list, actually op and fun and FREE Rügen pirates(into pommerania), they have surprisingly good ideas. Lübeck, uniting the league+ subjugating britain+scandinavia, i also like to "replace" the british empire(colonizing american east coast, india etc) Japan any daimyo, its a fiesta, but so fun(i recommend oda or tokugawa or so(pirates)) Venice(tall, focused on trade/money, going through egypt to indonesia, kinda colonial) I love playing tall and i love "thematic"/roleplay runs, these are my top ten Ragusa>croatia (it's even more fun now with dalmatia tag instead of croatia and new mission tree). pretty much all hordes apply, stack wiping and razing never gets old you go from small undeveloped island to controlling entire japan and ruining ming's mandate in 50 years. all daimyo campaigns are pretty cool, but turning japan into pirate confederacy is coolest. seeing your entire country with 30+ provinces is pretty cool basically same feeling in all 3, small country you play tall in first half and then get tools to go crazy. Holland>netherlands, ulm>swabia, florence>tuscany. combining some well known countries with pretty bizarre idea sets literal map painting, collecting cultures via diwan is surprisingly funīrandenburg>prussia. honorable mention to anything>persia, which is shia painting simulator Oman, not easiest start but it quickly turns into ibadi painting simulator after while. also you can still PU france as republic. true brittish experience of annoying entire europe while hiding on your island. beginning is bit tricky but when it gets going it's pretty fun.
